Crowning this form is a distinctive roof, where a diagonal ridge traces a geometric skyline.

The design intends a state of “semi-open architecture”—neither defenselessly exposed to the outside nor stubbornly closed off. Here, the roof serves as the primary element, mediating between the raw, beautiful external environment and the protected internal space.

True to its name, “Syncline,” the variations in the cross-section—guided by the roof’s form—introduce an organic fluctuation to the space. Beneath a single roof, the atmosphere shifts: at times high and liberating, at others low and intimate. Through the momentary transitions of ceiling height, particles of light, and the space’s center of gravity, this compact architecture encompasses a diverse spatial experience with a depth reminiscent of geological strata.
